Visits of the waste incineration plant (MVA) Pfaffenau
The guided tour starts in the large visitors room, where initially a 15-minute movie about the MVA Pfaffenau is presented. Subsequently, important areas of the plant are visited. Duration of this tour about 45 minutes.
Visits for private individuals
The free visit takes place every first saturday of the month (except on public holidays) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a minimum of five participants. Children over the age of twelve are allowed to accompany their parents. Registration is essential as the guided tour is limited to 15 persons.

Visits for school classes
For school classes (maximum of 30 persons), free visits are available daily from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 08:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. Pupils from the 7th grade can visit the facility.

For groups such as delegations, students or association members (maximum of 30 persons), visits can be organised daily from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from 08:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m.

Visits of the Biogas Vienna und the waste logistic centre (ALZ) Pfaffenau - DUE TO RECONSTRUCTION WORK, THE BIOGAS VIENNA CANNOT BE VISITED UNTIL 31.12.2025 !!!

Important advice for visitors:
- Sturdy shoes and sturdy clothing are required
- The guided tour is intended for individuals aged 12 or older
- Wearing helmets is compulsory throughout the entire facility. Helmets are provided.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility
- Dogs and other pets are prohibited
- Visitor parking is available
